About Me

Air Pressure

Today's lesson was a busy one! I taught the class about gas particles and the air pressure they exert, giving them examples such as the Magdeburg hemispheres. Then, I gave them 3 demonstrations: water staying in an upside down cup, an egg falling into and out of a small-mouthed bottle, and a can being crushed by air. The lesson ended with the children building and racing each other with balloon-powered cars. Another exciting day!
